Shipping & Warranty


We can ship to virtually any address in the US. 

Orders are usually shipped via commercial freight carrier; however, sometimes UPS Ground or Fedex Ground are used for small orders. We will generally determine ‘best way’ shipping based on available freight rates to your zip code

Full kitchens and/or other large cabinet orders will be delivered curbside. Please note that drivers will not be responsible for disposal and removal of  packing materials.

If your order is shipped via freight carrier, the freight company will usually call prior to delivery to make delivery arrangements, although this is not guaranteed. If the carrier attempts delivery without notice, and no one is available to sign for the delivery, he or she will contact you via telephone to make arrangements. You must agree on a delivery date within 3 days of the initial contact by the carrier. It is the responsibility of the customer to be available to accept the freight during the carrier's delivery times. These deliveries are curbside only

Larger orders will include a lift gate service which will get the pallets to the ground. However, some hand unloading may still be required.  Some pieces may be awkward to handle for one person. Always arrange to have assistance available to unload your order if you feel it is necessary.

Be aware that ‘curbside only’ means that the shipper will get the load as close to the location as the delivery conditions and truck limitations allow. This may mean that the load is dropped 500 feet from the house. This is not the responsibility of the shipper or Foundation Cabinetry. Therefore, be sure to work out delivery logistics with the shipper when they contact you to arrange delivery.

If your order is shipped via UPS or Fedex, there is no call or pre-delivery arrangements. UPS or Fedex will attempt delivery a few times; each time they will leave a slip. If you know you will not be available during their hours, you can contact them and arrange to pick up the order at their terminal. They may choose to leave the package without a signature (usually on the porch); this is at their discretion.

Inspection Policy

Once you receive your order, it is your responsibility to inspect the order for any visible signs of damage. If any sign of damage is observed, you should note the damage on the delivery form the driver presents to you. You can then accept the delivery then contact us to report the damages. You will be required to send in a copy of the signed delivery form stating the damage and a picture of the damaged package.

Shipping Minimums

Per item shipping cost applies only to orders of 5 pieces and above. For orders of 4 pieces and fewer shipping charges will be assessed on an order by order basis. We will contact you with the final shippign cost prior to finalzing your order.


Foundation Cabinetry offers a five year warranty on construction of all products covering any manufacturing defects. Foundation Cabinetry reserves the right to determine what constitutes a manufacturing defect.

All finishes come with a one year warranty against defects. Wood is a natural material and hairline cracks may appear over time. Foundation Cabinetry does not warranty any hairline cracks at hardwood seams.

Warranty does not include damage to both cabinetry and/or finishes that can be best described as normal wear and tear or cases of extreme product use. 

All cabinetry will be delivered and/or picked up in new condition. A signature at the time of delivery will be required for warranty to take effect. Please be sure to have either yourself or an appointed representative present at delivery to inspect your product. This is your only time to ensure our product arrives to you as it should. 

Relative humidity as measured onsite at time of installation required for warranty is 30%-50% with a temperature within 5 degrees, positive or negative, of 70 degrees.

Foundation Cabinetry is not responsible for nicks, dings, dents or any other damage to the cabinetry that resulted during delivery and/or installation. Damage by others is not covered and any repairs needed will be an additional cost and invoiced on a time and materials basis. 

Protection of the cabinetry after it arrives on site is the sole responsibility of the owner/contractor. Foundation Cabinetry is not responsible for any onsite protection of cabinetry. Inability to meet specified site requirements will void warranty.
